The company you create will reach a market outside of Madeira. Your company will design a web site to sell and advertise your product. You will create Facebook & Twitter accounts to communicate with potential customers. You will still complete various tasks throughout the semester, but the business plan task will focus on your global non-profit company that will raise money for a cause or country.
I would like your input and direction before I move forward planning your class:
1. Your company will design a product that can change the world?
We could work with environmental science class to solve a problem.
2. Your company will design a product to sell online where all proceeds go toward a project in a developing country.
We could work with French IV to raise money for projects going on in Haiti – Help rebuild a school, etc.
We could work with Spanish IV to raise money for a developing country.
Do we want to work with another class or make it our own?
3. Your company will work with another school in Japan, China or India to develop a product that we could sell to help a developing country or address an issue.
4. Your company will NOT go global. Instead, you will investigate an issue in Madeira that needs to be addressed and raise money through your non-profit companies to help the cause.
